starlight was a temporary community art space on Devon Avenue, open from September 14-October 29, 2022. starlight is an extension of Aao Mil Baithen, a project of SpaceShift Collective.
starlight was presented in partnership with the Race, Caste, and Colorism Project and supported by Northwestern University's Buffett Institute for Global Affairs.

The starlight artist workshop exhibition was an exploration of the history and future of Black and South Asian solidarity. We invited six artists to collaborate in transforming the space in response to these themes.
